The shoulder/neck/collar interior is lined with a unique "snakehead" panel that looks awesome while protecting your neck/shoulder skin from being irritated by the seams, as well as protecting the reinforcement stitching (less chance of the seams catching or fraying, which weakens the Gi). Manufactured in half-sizes to accommodate those "in between" sizes.
